Nice pic Chris and a good example of how monochrome pics give a sense of artistic awe and mood that colour can't quite capture.

After Saturday's talk, felt compelled to change mine to this....

I had a VC10 til last week, but that's been swapped for a piccie of the Cardington hangers surrounded by mist...

I'm sorry that mine isn't aviation related (well I suppose it has wings!) or british, but it is most certainly a classic

Yep thanks Garry, that's the one! I wanted to check what version of Victor it was, and I've just confirmed it is a B2 (pic taken in 1960.)

Yes, it just wouldn't look so stunning in colour, would it!
