:redface: Sorry, Im probably going to get a well deserved slap for this, but what is FlyNet.

I have tried searching for a description but can't even access their site, is it some kind of server similar to Vatsim for flying online or something......??

That's what it is...............and it's down at the moment

CBFS VA uses it.

Don't ever be afraid to ask anything like this as the assumption that everyone knows often means that some newbies don't due to the lack of basic information because of that sort of assumption.

Any idea how long or what the problem is? I'm a member of 2 other VAs already, I have posted on one of the forums asking why we didn't use it.

Can your flights be done online or is it a purely offline thing?

I'm not actually a member of the VA just associated with it as a non active type,

Others can best answer this but as far as I know the problem with Flynet down is not actually known even by them and it may be a while getting back up.

Keep an eye open here as information will, be passed on when known.

Member Chris Trott is on the Flynet admin and he keeps us well informed in times of trouble.

We're hoping that it'll only be a short downtime, but the developer and guy who pays for everything is on vacation until September so if something critical happened, then we have to wait until then for it to be fixed.
