At least now they are getting scanned they can be preserved and even restored.

Great shots Pete, they make me almost feel homesick! I love that Lincoln, what a shame we do not have a good one in MSFS!it is also odd to think that these shots (from the museum library?) were taken 9 months before my arrival in the world

Just what I like to see, Classic British Aircraft of an era gone by. Even though there is a Sabre in that lot!!

Thats not the Napier Lincoln is it?
BTW the Meatbox is a thing of beauty looks like they had a bunch of erks out polishing it
And I think the Dog is from Bentwaters - probably 81st FW

OOOohhh I think the Lincoln is one of the "Pinacle" aircraft used for inflight refueling trials

It does though if you read back the bottom and trace the links - that aircraft pictured was at the Air Warfare College at RAF Manby
