If that's the case, that would be fantastic. I know a good few of us that would might club together to get the Silverwings Sea Hawk model converted (right, Andy G and Hobby ). If UKMIL go ahead with they will have to find out the deal regardless, fingers crossed it is indeed that simple as the payware example you quoted.

Ok: latest updates made and the template is finished and ready for schemes to be painted. So far I have XG831 and XH883 (a T.5) done (minus reflective textures and as you can see the prop is fine). See what you think; I should have these online over the next few days.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for the feedback, gents, I'm going to be tied up for a couple of weeks, but after that will finish the other repaints and get them all uploaded to the Pond. If anyone has any specific requests they'd like done for the Gannet, just let me know as well. Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve, how about this shiney BLACK one..................................

Painted in overall black, it carries the white ensign on the nose and the acronym "FOAC" (Flag Officer Aircraft Carriers) on the tailfin. As the title might suggest, it was used as a 'taxi' to ferry high-ranking naval officers to on-shore briefings and planning meetings, but more importantly from a sailor's perspective, the collection of mail from home.

True, but this was an admirals barge too, I think I remember it coming out on an early 'Modeldecal' sheet in the 1970s for the Frog kit. Here is a standard COD liveryI always thought that the COD Gannets were blue?
