Wow, such a familiar almost iconic image of the cold war brought bang up to date. It amazes me that you could easily find similar images and depict the history of the RAF fighter force: Lightning, Phantom, Tornado and now Typhoon and yet the Bear remains constant.

You have to wonder what was going on this day though, all of the RAF fighters gone U/S!?!:

Tonks, you do realise you’re only suppose to refuel the fighters not do their job for them!!! :o ;-) :)

Classic!!

Did have to pinch myself on the way to work this morning seeing the picture of the Typhoon in the Paper escorting the Bear over the North Sea, it did feel like we had gone back in time!
