Classic British Flight Sim

Hi all yes I m back again :dance: after another time away from FS 2004. But what I am wondering is how do you get smoke on the Simshed's Red Arrow Gnat when I press ( I ) I get the contrail from the tail? is there way of getting the smoke to work wuith another key or is there something wrong with the file? HELP HELP

It's already happened I'm afraid. First thing.. read the readme.. second thing.. post on the forum :roll:

That said.. he's not asked for an EUJet paint (or SAA for that matter). Still confused by this change of tack :think:

Is the 'contrail' from the tail not supposed to be the smoke?

Hi Myles,

Yes.. the smoke system on the Simshed Gnat uses the contrail.fx file for display smoke ('I' key). ;-)

If you don't like that particular effect, you can substitute it with any fx file you like in the aircraft.cfg (Smoke.1)

Ok Dave I try that where abouts will the smoke be in the aircraft.cfg STUPID What the problem was when I pressed I (Smoke Key) It came out as a contrail instead of smoke. I let you know how I get on
