Hello all,

this is a bit of a long shot, but is there anyone on here that was either on 801 and/or 899 Naval Air Squadrons or knows how to get in contact with ex-members of them? I have tried the RN web site for these squadrons, but sadly the email addresses for their associations bounce back. I'm thinking there might be either be a postal address or better yet, working email out there for Squadron liaison or community, and was hoping someone on here could point me to it.

Specifically, I'm looking to get in touch with two pilots, Lt. Alan Curtis (801) and Lt. Cdr. Mike Broadwater (899) (ranks given at the time of the Falklands Conflict), so if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Steve

In view of the time that's passed since then it may be worth trying to contact them through the Fleet Air Arm Officers Association at http://www.fleetairarmoa.org/

Thanks a lot, Pete. I have posted on PPrune, and since found out that Lt. Alan Curtis was sadly lost in bad weather on the 6th May, 1982, but Mike Broadwater was last heard of piloting the RN Historic FLight Sea Hawk in 1989. I have duly got in touch with them in the hopes they might be able to put me in touch.
