Something tells me that the street workers forgot to bolt the lid last time the worked on the sewer.

I Denmark, and I'm pretty sure that that goes elsewhere too, all sewer lids has be bolted in order to prevent such things.


It is almost as if the geyser said "Didn't I tell to leave last time..?"

I doubt it would have mattered if it was bolted down or not. That kind of pressure would have almost certainly sheared the bolts if they were on with the same result.

Blimey that's a lot of water!
