Q1 I am gussing that he made the last ever RauxAf flight.
Q2 Robin Goch was a Welsh :o built contraption (sorry aircarft) that may have flown in 1908, pre dating Cody.
Q3 Garry is correct, I think.
Q4 is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percival_Merganser ;-)
Q5 is 4 in total (two versions were made three as an air ambulance and one as a transport).
Q6 is a Tail-less experimental WW2 glider.
Q7 Gyrons and Spetra Junior rockets
Q8 is Thames Engineering Works at Blackheath, East London. He subsequently changed his apprenticeship to J Samuel White's the shipbuilders based at Cowes in the Isle of Wight.

Nope scratch that.......He flew a Vampire jet under the Clifton Suspension bridge at 450MPH (sadly though he ploughed in just after..... :-( )

But a police chopper flew under it in 1997 whilst on a search.......

er..No and Yes!

Indeed he did fly the Vampire under Clifton Bridge, but collided with the Leigh Woods cliff shortly thereafter,
and Harrier has also been under it
