Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Hi Paul..
Don't you go bending ZO.. she's my fave T3 I notice you have a couple of overspeeds but these will only effect your rating not the VA so yes.. you have a full rating now and the T2 is open for you.
Have fun in the old girl. We have Cyprus T2's available as well as some over in China. Plenty there to keep your interest for many a month

Thanks.
The overspeeds were due to my getting to grips with my own mindset and procedures with the autopilot which I think I've sorted. Hopefully I've cracked that one!
Thanks very much.

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Hi Dave
I have now flown my initial six training flights, in a BAC 1-11, are the results good enough to pass
Not perfect every time, a few landing light faults, careless rather than anything else.
Need to fly other routes with this a/c, then hopefully some trident training
Cheers
Mike

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Hi Mike..
Rgr that.. I'll pop over and allocate a full rating now
Don't forget.. 10 fare paying flights on this one before requesting a new rating You can of course do many more than 10
EDIT: Done.. you now have the 200 and 400srs available too. Calm aires

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Hello there,
Could I ask for a Training Rating for the HS748? Have I read somewhere that a qualification on the 748 also brings a full rating on the Andover?
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Hello Paul..
Indeed it does should you so want it. When I was CEO 'in the chair', I offered the 780 'if wanted' as some pilots didn't, I felt. It means one more TR to keep up to date Let me go over and see how your other ratings are (no other training in progress) and I'll unleash the 748 for you.
EDIT: Training Rating added for the 748 Paul

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
There are plenty of 748 flights Paul.. DavidK has flown most of not all of them Once you've done the TR and the 780 is open, a whole new world we don't normally visit (RAF airfields) will also be at your disposal
Enjoy
