fix that with 'exc builder' (small prog that will write an exclude file for you) and you're good to go!

True Pete

But dave tried to model it accurately and the engine stand on the concrete runway apparently does exsist (see google) ;)
I guess you could exclude if you wanted to step back a few years
Thanks for that anyway - personally Im going to exclude it as it will make a nice back drop for DelPs Heron when it is released
anyone if the Olympus Vulcan operated into Hucknall????

Hi All
Exclude my beautiful engine test tower creation !! :o - peasants !! - it took me hours to build & texture and is a landmark seen from the high points around the city here.
Can't remember when it first appeared - can now, just Googgled it - 1983. If you're purists (which you can't be, removing heritage objects ) you might note that the runway is festooned with 'X's - thoughtfully added by me in FSX to deter vandals.
Next time, I'll nail all objects to the ground ;-) .
Cheers CHEERS

Its blowing arfagale at Hucknall today - little blue toy sort of elevated

I hid the dreaded engine stand under my wing

Downwind at Hucknall - little blue toy going like a bat out of hell even with throttle closed

Anyone up that way tell me if its blowing that much????

Wow yes Leif - it's blowing an official gale over most of the UK today with snow forcast (well it is Easter afterall ). Even the birds are grounded. You should be able to just start the engine, release the brakes and be airborn in -ooh - 3 feet ?
 Cheers

I think you'll find that it's actually a silencer which is in use when RR Trent engines are on test.Up to about 6 months ago I used to live about 3 miles from Hucknall and engines on test could be heard. On Sunday a friend of mine who works for RR at Hucknall, and his wife, are coming to stay with us for a few days.I will ask him for more info.Best Wishes EricT :)
