Noting the Loss of Aloha
I came across this little pieces
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23793523/
I do like the Mayor of Easter Islands requested "Payment"
If this is an example of the European tourists today the y can stay home
ranks up there with the theft of produce and money on the Hana Highway in Maui that for years sat at the entrance to
peoples farms with a jar or tin to place the money for the items in - it used to be (ten years back) possible to stop and self serve fresh Banana's Coconut, Pineapple, Papaya, etc etc leave the money in a tin already full of cash and go your way.
Over the last three years the influx of European Tourists to Maui has quadrupled (mainy due to the waning US Dollar)
and theft of both produce and cash has totally stopped "the honor system".
Sorry - to see prehistoric statuary that has stood untouched for centuries defaced by some idiot Finn just
takes the cake
Mahalo
