Britannias - Part 3, 300 Series, Airlines I-T
Last of the Britannia sets. All photos are by Michael Harries and are copyright the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum Trust.
IAS Britannia312, GAOVS at Biggin Hill, May 1974. At first glance she looks in reasonable condition but look again - something vital seems to be missing!
Three shots of IAS Britannia 312F, G-AOVP at Biggin Hill on 20 September 1975
The same aircraft at Biggin Hill less than 2 years later in May 1977. A sad fate and no way to treat a lady!
Safaris Britannia 314(?), 5Y-ALP at Biggin Hill in June 1971. She looks OK from this side but...
...take a peep around this side and...
Transglobe Britannia 302, G-ANCC at Gatwick in September 1968.

Cheers again Pete
G-ANCC is the only Britannia I've ever seen on the ground...Gatwick, July 1968
DIdn't see it in action though

Lovely pictures thanks again.
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.

The Britannia is the most majestic/beautiful propeller-driven Aircraft! Thanks for those.

Sad for me Peter - Even knowing that VS would soldier on with Redcoat - In my logbook VP/VS were the two Brits I flew on the most for IAS
Sad to see them in decline - VP was robbed down to keep the remaining 300s flying.
