Look at the colors the old bird is going to be painted in next! I believe these are the delivery colors.

Canadian, not Chinese.

But maybe the colours when delivered to Eagle?

And from elsewhere the sequence goes: C-FCZY,C-FMCK,G-APSA,HZ-ADA,4W-ABQ,G-APSA,

Yes Ian

You're right.... I always get them confused :$ ....the Chinese one which was a CIA spyplane :worried: alledgedly :-# is G-SIXC.

I guess Tom menas the livery when first G-APSA a livery that was quickly abandoned, may have been the only one painted thus???

And those registrations would suggest it was Canadian Pacific and then Maritime Central before Eagle. All in a space of 3 months so perhaps the CP (CF-CZY) reg was not taken up :dunno:

Not check the DC 6 but that sounds likely

That Britannia was the first delivered to Eagle leased form Cubana and the livery you see is that which was current at the time. It featured heavily in a Propliners article on BEIA Britannias published some years ago.

I painted a Viscount in that version.

Two videos on the sidebar are also worth seeing : the 109, which has an altogether coarser sound than a Merlin, and looks a real pig to land ( as is said to be the case) and the Mitchell

You're right - "delivery colors" must have meant British Eagle delivery. Maritime Central only had it for a short time, as I remember for charters that didn't quite work out.
