I was looking at it the other week in Waterstones, and it really is a very interesting book. For someone who was going to attempt a new FS model of a Lancaster, it would be invaluable especially for the interior and VC.

Can't see BBMF or CWH ordering it though. ;-)

Hi Folks

There's a cheapo alternative

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.

I think it's well worth getting theses as the novelty will wear off and they will go out of print.

When they do I think they could be some of the most sought after books ever....so now's the time ;-)

Err, one of the BBMF wrote it. Bf 109 is next up for release. Apparently Hayes don't think that a Hurricane volume will sell as it is too similar to a Spitfire.

Best wishes

Yes, I noticed yesterday that it was an official BBMF product. Steve, a bit of advice...if I ever give you a hot tip for the 2.30 at Ascot, ignore me ok ? ;-)

My copy of the Spit volume arrived today. I got it for about a tenner from Amazon. Wot a corker.

Its a great idea, one that I hope will lead to similar works on the Duxford Blenheim and Yeovilton's Sea Fury and Swordfish.

Best wishes

Perhaps I could add my Honda Accord to that list as they haven't done that yet, either
