many thanks for the info, sorry i should have been more clear with my request. i was looking for possible photo's when mona was fully operational. it may be a tall order. i would prefer to hand the flight community an raf airfield with much more to offer than the rather poor showing from microsoft. also learn more from the airfield building programs during the process.

Hi,

The best place to start is the RAF museum. They should be able to supply you with a detailed plan of the airfield. They also probably have wartime air-to-ground shots but last time I looked, they seemed to have stopped supplying prints to the general public. :-(

Also, ask over at the Key Publishing Forums. There are a number of experts there with large photographic collections. Someone may well have something.

Best wishes
Steve P
