Well.. ITV WX girl, Becky Mantin, had a smile on her face this evening and it didn't mean RAIN for once  A nice 'high' moving in which should make things rather nicer for Legends this Sunday.. if we're to believe the blurb! Still looks a bit indifferent on Sat so good luck all you RIATers ;-)

Looks like Thunderbirds are GO afterall

I'd love to be there Dave, but sadly I'm "confined to barracks" all weekend... :$ :-(

Hi Dave!

Possibly RIAT for me - ONLY 'cause 558 will be there, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I'm just wondering whether she will do a flypast over Duxford on her way to Fairford. I hope she does for all you 'Legenders'.

Hi Chris :)

Yup.. I'm keen to see her too but am at the stage now where I've waited so long.. a little while longer won't hurt (though I did consider doing a runner from the pub on Sat to nip up to Fairford) Should the unexpected happen and she does do a quick flypast at Duxford on Sunday.. I for one will not be complaining

Oh no, you have not drawn Orderly Officer have you Charlie? Still, on the plus side, you are surounded by vintage airframes that make plenty of noise and you will not have to sit in a traffic jam for hours   Added to that it's free.

Well..

A good day had by all at Legends today and I've just realised the 'hoped for' flypast of 558 never happened (despite MD hearing it would) Never mind.. nice to meet up with JohnP and his wife again and to meet Michael Davies for the first time. I phoned Rick up and he was out with the boys (he thought we'd all called it off)

Techy..
If it was you that phoned (and I'm guessing it was).. sri for the 'kinda' dumb responses mate as I couldn't hear a darned thing you were saying

BTW.. a capacity crowd at Duxford today due mainly to all those unable to get to RIAT turning up for Legends :o They acutally closed the gates and I've not known that happen before!!
