I finally got round to throwing my camera in my bag before yesterdays trip (BAH-KBL-OAI-BAH). Only got round to taking a couple of pics but will try & get more;
After pushback at Bahrain. No.1 is being started.
This parked next to us at Bagram. By coincidence I flew in S9-BAS a couple of times when I worked for the UN

Oh, how I would love to get studio quality sound recordings off the 727... I wish I grew up before all this homeland security wank, and when 727s were common!

Absolutely

With two crew you have arguments, with three its a discussion

Not sure about the studio quality bit but could probably sort out some recordings for you. PM me....

Afraid not.... It was
this one though so not a lot to see on the outside. (Originally with Mexicana, hence the the bulge on top of the centre fuselage).

WHAT?! SPEAK UP!!
If it is significantly quieter then god knows what they were like before..... There was one doing ground runs a couple of days ago & I thought at the time of that phrase "a noise that you dont need ears to hear".
One of them has different sound-proofing on the flight-deck and is noticeably quieter inside than the rest but outside they're all about the same.
