The thumb story....I may bore you... :doho: But the shortened version is that one of my dogs a Border Terrier was in dispute with the Airedale Terrier over a dog chew, things got a bit heated and they went from shouting the odd insult to full battle cries and teeth were gnashing, I stupidly became the Doggy world version of the UN and really should have called in the SAS or in doggy speak the Special Arsekicking Squad, anyway the Border thought my hand pulling him away was part of the Airedale and he procceeded to munch on my left thumb, he did a good job as with one bite he went through the thumb and amputated it 90% of the way through so I was left looking at a thumb that had a detachable top section with bone and tissue going in all directions, the ambo crew thought I would lose it but the brilliant medical team at Selly Oak managed to stich it all back together and now I have a nice shiny metal pin running the length of it until all the bones tendons and nreve stuff have knitted together again, my daughter said if I still have th epin in by xmas she will hang me off the Xmas tree by the hook at the end of the pin...she's so sweet
So thats it! ... are you still awake
