Just watched O J Simpson found guilty of 12 counts including kidnapping with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, assualt with a deadly weapon
The irony -- its 13 years to the day that he was found not guilty of murdering his wife
For those who believe that justice can be served

If the Judge is anything to go by - it will be maximum - 15 to life with no parole until 10
She has a reputation for dealing justice by the book - also if the end of the hearing last night is anything to go by
she is neither interested or impressed by Mr Simpson's "star" reputation

From what I understand, the minimum is actually 55 years as some of the counts cannot run concurrently (at the same time).
Basicall, it means OJ will most likely spend the rest of his life in jail.

He was convicted of an armed robbery that happened on Sept. 13
and was found guilty on the 13th anniversary of his Los Angeles murder acquittal.
The Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours,
after a 13-day trial.

The funniest (ironic) thing was the lights in the court room
Apparently the courtrooms on the 15th floor have time controlled lights (they automatically switch off at 2300lcl time)
As Simpson was being prepared to be taken to the detention cells ALL the lights went out in the courtroom - There was confusion
Then the judge very calmly said "they timed out" and the lights came back on -- In American Football parlance the only thing missing
from this long sad story is a fat lady singing
