To while away the hours in as unprofitable a way as poss (at least personally speaking) SWMBO sorts out the books at the local Oxfam shop. She also has a personal crusade against the local shoplifters -but we won't go there.

Anyhoo, the other day they received a handfull of Ian Allen Civil and Military Aircraft recognition books. There is one Military Aircraft Recognition book from '69, one Civil Aircraft Recognition book from '70, and seven Military Recognition books from '70.

The normal Oxfam policy is to bin them but she thought some of the lost souls round here may be willing to make a contribution for a clean copy of one of these historic documents. Five bob in real money back in the day, but I guess postage will probably exceed that and it would be good to have some coppers left over to help provide some school books or a bit of a goat. So how about £1.50?

Any interest?

The books seem to have sat on a shelf for the past 38-39 years as they seem to have been untouched by human hand or even any passing simmers.
