ATPs

I rather belatedly got my IMechE Local Area evening lecture series calendar a couple of days ago. Sadly I missed the first talk, but its title is slightly confusing. It says "Air Atlantique - The way forward: Introduction of the ATP Freighter", presented by Stuart Powney who it has down as the QA Manager for Air Atlantique.

I was trying to figure out if they mean Atlantic Airlines - an Atlantique spinoff, who definitely do have ATPs, or whether Air Atlantique themselves have acquired perhaps some of the ex-Emerald aircraft?

Unfortunately, the talk was on October 7th so I've well and truely missed that one!

Hi Toby

I read recently that Atlantic Airlines are to merge with West Air of Sweden. West Air operate ATP's, so this could be where the aircraft will come from.

Kevin

Atlantic though have been operating them for years

it is the Atlantique side of the business that is the query

Shame Tom Everitt seems to have vanished recently (Havent seen him on MSN for example). He'd probably know who Stuart Powney was and thus could confirm if this was a simple case of typos/confusion, or if Air Atlantique themselves are getting ATPs. They did after all used to have two ATRs, so it wouldnt be utterly nonsensical
