Thought I would share this with you not sure if you guys saw C.I.N last night, well the lad who played the Artful Dodger in the Oliver scene is my nephew, Robert Madge. Hes 11 and a real talent, he is in London rehearsing for the show which opens December.
He started off as a mad keen kid who wanted to do shows for the family at Christmas etc, My Dad and Late Mum entered him into a competition on a TV prog (Richard and Judy) for a chance to play one of the children in Mary Poppins in a London theatre, he won and got the part, he was well liked and kept on a lot longer than expected. He then got an audition for Oliver and he seems to be doing well :)
Anyway if you didnt see it I have put a clip on this link http://www.simviation.com/hjg/tm/robert_in_oliver.wmv
its about 28mb not brill quality but works.. either open or save. Its an AVI file
Cheers Tony
