We got it here as well Fran. But it looks like you got it worse.
Reminds me of the January a couple years ago we flew back from a sunny warmish England to find northern Italy under snow. I had to dig my car out of the car park at Orio al Serio.
The snow's gone from here now but it's still damp and pretty cold. There could be ice on the roads tomorrow morning.

No fog here at the moment but the plains of Lombardy are famous for it.
I leave for work about 6:45 tomorrow so it could be fun. I have to be that early to stand any chance of a parking spot near the Milan Metro.

... I guess, searching for a parking in italy is like finding a needle in a barn, as we said. I will be in Milan next friday, by train from Vicenza, a very early departure.... |-) |-)

I miss snow.
Just come over here on Wednesday mate -- they are calling for 6-12 inches above the 3500 foot level
And by the looks of the sky tonight we will probably get some up on Mount Charleston tonight

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a few feet here in the North-west. A solid excuse not to go to work as Northern Rail certainly wouldn't be operating... even though al their rolling stock has snow ploughs
