Thanks Garry
I thought I was going mad, I've been there for 'Top Gear' and was sure I would have noticed it!

Hi John
Just looked it up
It was broken up in 2000
In answer to a lot of complaints about security issues Google earth raises, they have often said that many of the maps are not up to date enough to be of risk.
Hurn has been updated but it wasn't that long ago a quick google map visit saw a large amount of One-Elevens present and Brooklands showed some aircraft twice in different palces as the part they used were not matched in currency.
Not a reliable source in that respect

If you use google earth, which uses the same imagery funnily enough, it tells you at the bottom of the screen when the pictures were taken. Obviously it's more accurate the more you're zoomed in and they only added that feature recently so you need the latest version.
