HP Halifax/Halton Warpaint

Post by DaveB »

Hi Guy's..

I'm after a pub which I've passed I don't know how many times and is now out of print.. the Warpaint HP Halifax/Halton. If anyone knows where I can get my hands on one or.. if they have a copy and wouldn't mind scanning the 'Civvie' pages.. I'd much appreciate it ;-)

Yes mate.. agree. I thought Lancastrian shots were few and far between but the Halton wins on that point

Dave, I have it. The only colour plates are side views of the three you get with the Alphasim Halifax/Halton package, but there are a good number of black and white photos. I've scanned this page at 600 dpi resolution, but I think that might be a bit OTT. Is this image size big enough for you ? The original file sizes are enormous, so it might be better if I upload those to File Front and you can resize and enhance them as you wish.

Let me know whats best for you in terms of size and resolution etc. CHEERS

What a star you are Paul :kissu: That is excellent

600dpi is cool though in reality.. 300 should be adequate for me to pull a shot in for that extra little bit of detail so go with that mate. VM appreciated.. I owe you one ;-)

Can you zip em up into one file and upload or will the size be prohibitive??

Already.. one of those shots has proven my belief that the LAM Alpha paint is wrong ;-)

Ok I will scan them at 300 dpi, zip them up, and give you the link to my File Front account, Dave. Can you give me a couple of days though...bit hectic here at the moment, so it may be a case of doing it during the Queens Speech ! They will get done, however.

Let's say we're (I'm) looking again mate. I have someone looking at the FD (he of Shack Mk2/Lancastrian/York/Ambassador fame) so we'll see what pop's out. I've contacted the original texture 'artist' to see if a PK is lurking out there and if not.. I'll have to make my own. Getting good Hercules sounds is easier said than done (none sound as lovely as the Merlins) so watch this space ;-)
