RAF Abingdon

Post by chester58 »

Hi
Just to let everyone know ,i will be uploading the AFCAD for RAF Abingdon during the next couple of days.
This is my second Disused airfield the first being HAL-FAR Malta, They are by no means perfect including the airfield and nav aids, just built in a couple of days , but fill a missing gap in FS (needed some were to park the shorts belfast by alphasim, just my luck it became free after I purchased it).Research is limited to what is available on the web.

There are Hangars ,buildings and a very loose resembalance of 'F'shed - still learing how to use GMAX.
Any help in improving Abingdon would be gratfuly accepted.
My Wife now regrets bying me AFX for xmas. lol

Happy Flying

I'd love to see an FSX Abingdon, spent a fair few hundred hours flying there in the late 90's; fantastic airfield.

Hi Rob,

If you can let me know the hanger types and any NAVAID info, I'll knock one up end of next week when I'm back. I can do the hangers if they are in that RAF Hanger library I have for FSX :)

I look forward to that Oggie! A welcome addition not least because it is still used by the VGS.

There is a bit of info here, if anyone is interested...http://www.controltowers.co.uk/A/Abingdon.htm

Hi Mate, just attach the file to your post (as long as its smaller than 2MB). If you scroll down the page after you have typed a post there is a tab next to the signature to "upload attachment" :)
