Classic British Flight Sim

Hi all,

clocked this pretty visitor to Manchester on Wednesday. Seems KLM enjoy splashing their aircraft with liveries of days gone. I have also noticed a few of the operators from the US have also done this.

Personally I think its a wonderful idea and no doubt is good PR for the airline and brings back treasured memories for many enthusiasts from all over the globe.

Be nice to see BA adopt this idea. :think:

Although I can't think of many other UK operators still around that could!

Should probably be a 747 in Golden Speedbird as it actually wore it.... Now a 146 in Red Square would look very smart... oh, and its British of course

Yes.. but unlike KLM.. both BOAC and BEA ceased to exist on Apr 1 1974. I'm sure they could paint em up and hide a BA logo somewhere.. like inside a wheel bay

As long as it says 'British Airways' on the fuselage. I hated them when it said just 'British'.

Yep, definately British Airways... although the 757 looked great in Red Tail, but alas was only the "British" titles.

Believe Air France have just done an A320 retro.
