Skill of hero pilot saves hundreds!

Just updated my Project Opensky 747 Classics to V4. And where better to try one out than Kai Tak? The approach was textbook until 1,000 feet when I took the autopilot out and found that the co-pilot had set the throttles for too much thrust. So by the time I'd started the turn I had overcompensated and was struggling to keep the nose and speed up - as you can see by the position of the elevators! Having settled the rate of descent, I'd lost track of the curve and drifted wide over the threshold, dragged it back over the centreline and slammed it down, port side first! The nine dragons in the harbour were licking their lips, but thanks to the skill and bravery of the pilot in command they were denied their lunch!
Posky have done a nice job and sorted out a few niggles that blighted the old model.
Ian
