Hi

Google has developed a new Browser called chrome, which I've been using for testing for a while now.

Works pretty good, even though there are a few snags here and there... but a good alternative to the "usual"

You may give it a try?

thought there was a few security issues with Chrome and the Apple one? I know IE and Firefox met the requirements, but I'm sure there was an article in the Register a few months back pointing out that the Apple one and Chrome didn't meet the latest standards

there might very well be, I only use it sporadically, but thought it was worth mentioning.

definately worth a mention mate.

The only thing that puts me off google is the amount of data they collect on you, they'd put MI5 to shame! lol

Like Dan, I've been using Chrome for a while now but only for a few selected sites. They will know I visit here, SImOuthouse, eBay and Amazon - they must wonder how I pay on eBay because I nip off to Firefox for PayPal, my bank and credit card accounts  And they will know about a variety of Linux and hardware sites.

Overall it doesn't choke on many sites and it is supposed to have a very fast Javascript engine and each window is a separate task so if one crashes it doesn't take down all the other open windows. It gets updated pretty regularly (and hence it wants to phone home each time it starts).

Certainly worth a try but bear in mind Ben's comment in the last post.
