A friend of mine told me that a local Council Newcastle City council or Northumberland County Council along with the Greenies want to reflood the wetlands on the edge of the airfield that was drained 40 years ago

. What happens when a flock of wild foul say hello to the insides of a pair of CFM56s on take off???. the greenies will lose some birds. Many families will lose members. This would have to be classed as murder and animal harm on the part of the people that sancsoned this idea.
Dont know what you all think.

As Newcastle Airport is owned by the surrounding councils, and it generates a huge amount of revenue for them, I can't see them doing anything too risky ;-)
