Classic British Flight Sim

Hi all,

thought I would post a few pictures of our weekend in York. One of Englands oldest cities and bursting with history from ye olde England and as far back as Roman times.

York is supposed to be one of the most haunted places on Earth with hundreds of strange goings on reported every year.

I love anything to do with the paranormal but sadly nothing was seen or heard by me and the good lady on this visit. Although we plan to return at some point and stay over (if I can persuade the missus!) in the most haunted hotel/pub in York - The Golden Fleece (see pic below)

We did a ghost walk which was informative and fun and recommended if you ever get the chance to visit York.

Great stuff. I love these little 'photo-tours' that people do on various forums. Never been to York, so doubly interesting.

Went to York some years ago, fascinating city and some wonderful buildings. Very atmospheric shots Eddie, as for those dust marks they are definately orbs, in the centre of them you can actually see an eye!!!

Hi Graham,

It was about 1130 on Sunday. Its was very quiet throughout York that morning. In direct contrast of the night before where you could'nt move for people.

York would be a great city were it not for bloody tourists everywhere stopping to photograph things while you try to get from A to B! ;-)

Is it true that you can still legally shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow in York?

Ah! That explains a lot Eddie.

It's always been heaving when I go. My Daughter lives in York, and is a senior scientist at the York hospital.

I used to use the outer ring road to get on the A59 to North West Leeds, till everey other bugger found the short cut.
