Two of Skyways Connies migrated to Euravia in 63/64 - I saw one of them at Luton a year later waiting the breaker.
The colours are very close, given that it had sat behind Britannia's hangar and was sunfaded.

But IF you want to check your colour values for Skyways, may i suggest you do it against Garry Russells Skyways/Coachair repaints of the 748 - I know how long he worked to get them right. There are several profiles
of Skyways aircraft The York, The Connie , Dc3 and 748 and they all have the colours wrong.

Tom - None of Skyways/Euravia's Connie's appear to have had astrodomes. If you find a copy of "A Chartered Success" by Ian Ormes you will find several photos of the Skyways/Euravia Connies - I believe you will find they were "plumbed" for perismatic sextants for long range navigation.

Hi,

The Alphasim Connie comes with an astrodome - nothing we can do about it...

Thanks for the tips.

The answer to this is unquestionably yes. I think I was intending to post on another thread!
