Ruskin Air Services DVDs available

Recall Airline from 1982? Well after another post here nd seeing Ben's DC3 Paint I decided to mooch around and see if I could get a copy.. Found out it was never released but found a chap who had the series taped in VHS and he kindly got me all 9 episodes on DVD
I have asked him if he wants to do anymore should folk enquire and he will.

Sounds like the story of Freddie Laker......perhaps it was loosely based on him....I do remember this series now and it is suprising that no commercial DVD's exist of it....good to hear that someone has got them for you Tony.

I would like to have a copy as well but would not want to rock the boat and swamp the poor chap with more requests unless you think he would be OK about it.

Must get the repaint down in any case.....I have been inspired by Ruskins.. ;-)

I will see what he wants price wise as well, if it is the same as me it was cheap for 5 DVD's!!

I seem to recall that Ruskin was played by Roy Marsden who also played the taller one of the 'sinister' Driscoll brothers in the brilliant comedy series Only Fools and Horses. :) EricT

I found the guy via Youtube I have not played the DVD's yet so I cannot vouch for the quality as they from VHS I guess it wont be great but its a nice trip down memory lane as you say :)

Yup.. mine turned up this morning but I've not had a chance to try em yet. Fortunately, he states on the list of DVD's he has available which ones have varying degrees of quality so there shouldn't be any surprises ;-)
