I think this was a rather more serious incident than it might appear. There are strong suggestions that the aircraft suffered an aft CG after a cargo shift during the takeoff, with a resultant uncommanded overrotation and three individual tailstrikes during the roll. Current reports suggest it took out the ILS array , and if this is correct then everyone was very lucky to avoid a serious overrun accident

The A340 (like all Airbuses) has functions within is control laws that are supposed to prevent a tailstrike. About the only way it could happen is as said - a cargo or weight shift that causes extreme aft CG which overrides the limits of the stick pusher.
