Cross Channel Ferries

The next time I'm back home I need to have a trip to the continent. I used to travel between the UK & France regulalrly but that was a few years ago so I'm out of touch with what the best deal is.

So, can anyone tell me who does have the best deal? It'll be for travelling in early May, will just be on the continent 1 night. But..... We'll have a trailer with us (approx 4M) which on the way back will have a LR 90 on it so overall height needed is about 95".

Picking up the vehicle in Cologne, never been to Hermeskeil so feel a diversion coming on.........

Thanks
Richard

Oh, and.......

Does anyone know of an online route-planner which covers Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany?

Cheers

Hi Richard,

I always use Google Maps. The routes I get are usually just within a single country, but its always been ok for me.

You can also try http://www.viamichelin.com, I've only used it a few times but it seems pretty accurate and it is pretty good at showing the highway signs that you need to recognise. ;-)

Thanks very much for the route planner info chaps!

Looks like SeaFrance will be the best deal, unless anyone knows different?.....
