"Airshow horror............."

Post by Prop Jockey »

You gotta love the Daily Mails sense of drama .........................

Airshow horror as biplane takes off without pilot and crashes into trees

Shame about the Stampe tho :-(

Cheers

That was the first Stampe that I flew in.....G-BEPC. I seem to have a habit of flying in an aeroplane and something happens to it. I use to fly in a Wassmer Europa a lot in the 80s and then after a gap of sitting in the back of Harvards for a few years, had one more Wassmer flight and then within three weeks, it flew into a hill near Teignmouth. A year later I had a flight in a DR400 and a week later that was written off too.

Don't ever ask me to go flying with you!

Best wishes,

Martin

Hi Eric - take it from someone who was there - no it didn't!

This chap had also been warned about doing this a few days before at another aerodrome.
