Australia, The A380 and something smaller

Hi guys

Recently got back from Oz, after spending 3 great weeks there with my sister and her family.
I was lucky enough to fly on the A380 of Singapore Airlines on the London - Singapore and Singapore - London sectors of the journey.
The aircraft is very impressive, incredibly quiet on take-off, not to mention, enormous.

Something a little smaller than the A380...

Can you tell what it is yet?

I went for a pleasure flight in this, flying in formation. My brother-in-law was in the other aircraft.

A great trip, over all too soon.

The trainer aircraft was a Nanchang CJ6-A, if you hadn't already guessed.

Regards

Kevin

Is it just me, or does Bill Odie get everywhere thesedays ?

Lovely pics - and nice to see a distant cousin (by which I mean the Nanchang - before the gags start rolling in)

Cheers

Rich

Super pictures Kevin.I was in Oz some years back but never managed to get to Adelaide.Regarding the A380, I'm sure it was a real treat to fly on but can't help thinking that she looks somewhat bloated and out of proportion.Bit like SWMBO ,only joking---HONEST  EricT

Fantastic pics, Kevin. Makes we want to visit Oz and the aircraft shots were great. That A380 looks like it is too big to ever get off the ground but I'll take your photographic eveidence that is does. ;-)

Nice shots. Love that you've gotten a ride in a Chang. They're great airplanes (better than the Yaks - except the 18T IMHO, sorry Rich) and still get factory support (and new parts even!).
