Classic British Flight Sim

Can anyone tell me when RHAG (Rotary Hydralic Arresting Gear) were introduced at RAF bases? I am trying to ascertain when RAF Waddington, Cottesmore (and Scampton?) had the gear installed. Specifically, was it there during the Vulcan era?

I have seen the wonderful detective work that has been done here previously - here is another chance for someone to shine!!
