Re: ND EC-135 UK Air Ambulance Repaints links
Hello Chaps..
It's that time of the year and I've felt like buying something.. something for FSX shock horror!! These paints of Rick's for the EC-135 sparked it off. I looked at the Nemeth site a few weeks ago and again today and they're selling it for $35.44/£21.71 in real money. Too much for me. By chance, I found myself on Simmarket and guess what.. ALL Nemeth helicopters appear to be half price and I found the EC135 at £12.49inc VAT (without, it's just over a tenner). So.. I now have myself a very nice, stable to fly EC135 from ND. Worth it just to give Rick's paints somewhere to live if you ask me!

Is it Nehmeth that do the Explorer? If so, the half price option would be good!! Just need someone to do a West Yorkshire repaint as with most things in WY Police, we are totally unique!

Nemeth do do the Explorer Paul. They also had a 50% sale which ended 20th Dec which I missed
EDIT: There's a Dorset Police paint available for it already if you feel in the mood (I know it's not the same but it's blue and yellow)

Tut, another sale missed!
The West Yorkshire Explorer is a different paint scheme to the rest of the country. The story goes that when they were ordering the Explorer to replace the Bolkow, the Unit Exec Officers wife said that the blue and yellow scheme was drab and MD's other scheme was much nicer. Hence we got a different one.

If the 'good lady' has spoken.. then so shall it be It is a nice looking livery Paul
Looking at that shot reminds me I must try and do something about the nav/strobe/beacon lights on the EC135 which wouldn't look out of place on a supertanker I found 3 updates for it on the Nemeth site so I may have a look to see if one of them fixes the lights

I like the look of the EC135 so I popped over to Nemeth to do a bit of window shopping but I got distracted. However nice modern stuff is, I can't resist a classic

You devil Yes.. I have to agree the Huey IS a classic. I found a fairly decent FS9 model that ports over to FSX well. No way you can get rid of the side gunners on mine though so it's use is a little, err, restricted
