...or is that jet's fuselage on the lorry in front of me?

It's just turned into farm on the road from Funtington to Chichester... the rear of an aircraft fuselage, sort of 737 size (no rear engine mounts so not a BAC111) in red/white/blue colours.

Anyone got any ideas?

John

Could it have been a static display of some sort on it's way to an air show? Isn't RIAT this weekend over there?

That's what first crossed my mind, then I thought it was going to join the B720 nose that's used for cabin training at Chichester college, but when it turned into a farm/business park (at Funtingdon) I ruled that out.

Kind regards

Hi John

Can you described the colours a little more

Was it with with red and blue bands.....how much of the rear fuse was missing? Could it have had rear engines behind where the fuse now terminates???

I used that road every day for work for years, it must have been a squeeze at times! How long a section was it?
