Changing Careers or spelt with a 'W' or a 'B'?
I just loved a story I saw on BBC World News America tonight. Apparently there is a place called Wookey Hole in Somerset and they held auditions for a witch (must have a good cackle.) Over 300 applicants auditioned for the job, which pays £50,000 per year on a pro rata basis. A lady named Carole Bohanan won and when the reporter announed this he said "She came perfectly qualified - up until now she was an Estate Agent."

My ex Missus would be a fine candidate for a spell as a witch

The Times has done a very amusing piece on it today, with jewels such as ' ... More than 3,124 people requested application forms, 278 “volunteered” their mother-in-law and 23 church groups sent in letters of complaint. Inquiries came from 401 male witches and one London banker...'
Times Online, witch
And also an amusing aviation story about the most dangerous sector in the world. Aeroflot used to pay their pilots danger money! :o :

Most of the men I saw on the news story appeared to be dressed as witches, not warlocks! Other factors besides getting a job maybe involved here.Garry Russell wrote:Warlocks :ospeedbird591 wrote: Inquiries came from 401 male witches

Found this on the BBC website.
Under sexual discrimination law, unless Wookey Hole can provide "documentary proof that the original witch was female it can't issue a gender-specific job description".
