For hundreds, maybe thousands of years, people have been trying to figure out how primitive people could build huge structures such as Stonehenge and the pyramids out of stone blocks weighing thousands of pounds. Take a look at this .....................

Very interesting indeed. I'm sure something similar was done on TV a good few years ago, where they tried to show how Egyptian obelisks such as Cleopatra's Needle were set on their ends. Can't remember the outcome, unfortunately.

Anyway, amazing that he moved a complete barn single handed, with arm power alone!

Oh standing the stones up is easy! Anyone can do that! What he doesn't tell you is how to get the others on top of the standing ones!

If you don't have a Chinook handy, how about building a platform. Wedge planks under the stone and gradually add layers of planks until the stone is at the correct height. Then you can use the technique shown in the video to roll the stone over the top of the two standing stones. Be sure to wear a hard hat and some hard toe boots! :lol:
