Meteor spotting...but not Glosters
Anyone watching for the Perseid meteor showers tonight? Here in Oxfordshire its cloudy :-(
Did manage to see 3 last night but disapointed tonight. Otherwise I might have driven out of the village with a deck chair in my car boot!

Re: Meteor spotting...but not Glosters
Just seen one up here at Montrose this very min. - reasonably clear here, bit of light and patchy cloud. Its good enough to see anything but not much action by the looks of it at the moment

Too cloudy last night here in Dallas unfortunately. There's a chance that it will clear up enough tonight to see something.

You already know the answer here in Nevada --- its a toss up tonight with about one good trail every two or three minutes and the lightning display from the 50K plus thunder heads up towards Bryce canyon -- some one got a shot of one trail last night here that went literally from horizon to horizon.

Its going dark now and its quite clear above my house. Might have another check in an hour or so.
And I suppose I better put some clothes on this time.
