Loud livery...

Post by forthbridge »

Just came across this in 'Design magazine' - discussing aircraft painting....

More 'example' than fact, but interesting! :flying:

Just as well Dave, since the main article on that page starts off with the disestablishment of personality and has nowt to do with aircraft

An apt subject Jim as no one would want to be associated with either of those liveries

Hi Folks

Interesting find Jim.

Article's about visual perception,
and personality of an object, (not nescessarily human).

How branding schemes
can make 2 identical aircraft types
appear as if entirely different types.

Particularly appropriate in disruptive camouflage.

Most real world crazy liveries have a theme or at least some hidden reason :worried:

Those are just random painted colours without any 'theme' unless the them is crap liveries and for a start make no allowances for the wing areas that are not painted.

Having said that they are very good if painted by a four year old girl :) ....if not, then I apollogise to all four year old girls :worried:
