Hi everyone,
Below is the new post from our frontpage, it's brand new and may have bugs but I hope everyone thinks it's usefull.
Rob.
CLASSIC BRITISH FILES VIDEO HOSTING SERVICE LAUNCHED
CBFiles is pleased to announce the launch of it's Video Hosting service. Similar to popular sites such as YouTube, CBFiles hopes to become home to a vast library of streaming Flight Sim and real world aviation videos. Specifically rare and hard to find Brit videos.
The Video Library will only be a sucess with the help of contributers posting and allowing us to host their videos so please, if you wish to allow us to host your videos, get posting away.
If you have any questions, suggestions or indeed problems please post in the Site Support forum or contact one of the CBFiles team.
I hope you enjoy the site and the new Video Hosting section.

Re: PondTube
I tried to upload a video but the first obstacle was the 50MB limit...Then when I found one small enough there was an I/O error on the upload. I'm just trying it again...It failed again at 95%

Hi Peter
Perhaps you could transfer the Superfreighter vid over there and relieve your bandwidth
There are a couple of sites I'd like to put that on with Nigel permission but I did not want to with you hosting it

Re: PondTube
The 50mb limit is currently there due to limitations in the PHP upload system.
I have a perl upload script to try which is unlimited but I need to sit down and get it working properly.
You lot are my beta testers so if you get any more errors let me know, i've not seen any whilst testing but i'm sure there are some!

Re: PondTube
That one is 69.7MBs Garry so it will not fit. Personally, I feel that the 50MB limit is too severe...YouTube was double that the last time I checked and it may be more now.Garry Russell wrote:Hi Peter

Re: PondTube
I agree that 50mb is indeed too strict and it's something i'll be hoping to get increased as soon as possible. The server has a lot of work to do converting the video after it's uploaded, YouTube has far more resources than me and that is where the proboem lies. I don't have the backing of Google's billions.
