Cycling: Where's Valerie?

The other day I took the bicycle out for a ride up to Celeste...around 90 miles roundtrip. Valerie couldn't make the ride, so sorry no pics of her this time. ;) I guess this will decide once and for all if pics of women make for a more interesting thread. Nothing special to see on the ride but a few things did catch my eye.

I liked them all but my favourite was the ramshackle shed...I'd love one like that to add to my collection of library items for FS9 :welldone:

Thanks for these pics, Brian. There are certainly some interesting subjects and I love the one of the one-horse town - is it actually inhabited?

What's Frognot? Is it a sort of amphibian repellent? :worried:

Ian :)

Have to go along with Peter, an interesting shot of the shed, trying to imagine what it was actually used for. As for the town, quite a sleepy place by the looks of it.

Nigel.

Hi all,
I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. :) The area around which I live is littered with sheds and barns like the one shown in the pic. Their very appearance often seems to defy gravity. I have no idea of the original use of the shed in the pic...maybe a hen house? The town of Frognot is an absolute ghost town. The only thing visible in Frognot is a couple of houses and the water tower shown in the pic. Celeste is a different matter entirely. This lively community ;) has a population of over 800 and even has its own police force. I met the police force as he was leaving the 'saddle repair' shop carrying his newly repaired boots. A real nice fellow with a classic gut overhanging his belt buckle. :worried: The police station is closed each day between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00pm (seriously) so plan your visits to the station accordingly.
