As Michael Caine said 'You are not meant to see that the bloody wheels are down'

I was just using the CS Herk (which is a complex model) to check out how much that complexity of scenery (loads of domestic scenery, not all in shot) slowed things down (answer a bit too much!) and I yawed the aircraft (not flew her) into that position! Did not think anyone would notice....I forgot about Garry and his 'eagle-eyes'

I hope to do and FS9 version too over the next month or so, the airfield is common, I just need to add the buildings from a different library.

The place? well, lets say it is now called Baker Baracks, damn silly name for a nice place like that :'(

Well, it looks like a lot like Lyneham because I live near there. And I suppose the Herc would be big clue! But it is a guess :worried:

During my time at Lyneham in the about 30 years ago, the sea was not that close.....but with global warming, who knows!!!

Hang on, I'll clean my specs ... yes, I suppose that could be sea lapping around the edge, Trev

I'll go back to sleep, now.

Ian

If those two objects in the distance are supposed to be cranes.. an obvious choice would be Thorney Island :)

The sunshine hangar gives it away as Thorney Island, home of 46 Sqn, (Andovers) 242 OCU (Andovers and Hercs)and 22 Sqn SAR (Whirlwinds).
