Hi Guys

I;ve been lumbered with the pain in the ass task of getting rid of my dads 200+ collection of Vintage Bookmatches. Most are 1970's, including rare gems such as a Zambia Airways 707-320C bookmatch, Concorde Redtail matchbox, Wardair Canada DC-10 Bookmatch etc. I think there's even some vintage 1970's playboy club ones in there.

They are free to a good home so if anybody is interested give me a bell before November 5th or they're going on the bloody bonfire

Can't you bang 'em onto Ebay as a job lot mate?? I'm certain they're worth something to someone and surely.. it'd be better to get something back, however little than see them all go up in smoke :)

I have been monitoring eBay for the last 6 months as far as bookmatches goes, and if Victorian & Edwardian Bookmatches aren't selling for 99p, I haven't got much hope in hell!!! :S

Give Sothebys a ring if you haven't already done so. They may point you in the right direction.
