Classic British Flight Sim

Was in Waterstones this afternoon and noticed some reproductions of Air Min publications of pilot's notes - Lancaster, Spit 18 and Hornet F3 in this instance. Looking at the back of one there seems to be a pretty long list of aircraft covered. Publisher is Air Data Publications. Also available over at Amazon.

I have the ones for the Halifax B Mk III, the Hellcat and Avenger ( in FAA service of course ). Very interesting they are too.

I have one - it may be for the Sea Fury - and I noticed that the reproduction includes a hand-written NOT in the middle of an instruction. Ooh err missus.

Allan, a pretty important word that "NOT" - I wonder if they put it in before sending it out or after the inevitable incident?

I see they have one or two more titles available than they had 30 years ago!! One is the Canberra and another the Sycamore, I wonder if Rick has a copy? I wish they would publish (at a higher price, because of the size) later aircraft like the Lightning, Jav or even the Beverley.
I know these can be bought on CD from a site in the USA,http://www.flight-manuals-on-cd.com/but I still prefer to get my hands on a book, rather then read of the screen.

It does sound French Chris but they're actually in Manchester. I've dealt with them direct on occasions where the 'usual' places haven't had what I've wanted and they're a helpful lot I wanted a Venom (I think it was Venom.. that or Vampire) PN which it turned out was out of print. Many months later.. I received a letter saying it had been reprinted and did I still want a copy. Of course I did and I have it here now!
